I'm not sure if this is a software bug, or it's the pen itself that's starting to fail.Īlso, there is no Wacom Pen driver or application from the Windows Store. Seems like opening the Wacom Pen panel (from the Windows Store) temporarily fixes it though. I've just updated to Wacom Components Driver version: 7.6-29 using Restarting the ISD Driver in this state won't do anything. But for some odd reason, the top button still works with Bluetooth. Go to Settings > Update & Security to enter the Windows Update page. So, uninstall the latest update and see if the tablet pen works for you. If you update Windows, perhaps the update is conflicting with Wacom services and cause it to stop working. Holding the two side buttons to change the pen mode doesn't work. It is not new that Windows 10 updates sometimes break different components and mess up things. You can update your Wacom pen drivers either manually or automatically. You can easily fix it through updating the Wacom pen driver on your Windows. Whenever this happens, I cannot use the pen itself and the side buttons. Why is my Bamboo tablet pen not working Your Wacom pen cannot work issue is probably due to an old, corrupted or missing Wacom pen driver. Then the pen completely turns off and it doesn't work until I remove and put back the batteries (or simply unscrewing and re-screwing the battery lid). The pen stops working if I press either of the side buttons on the pen. Keipaws wrote:I'm having a similar problem but with full batteries.
